Curriculum Development ICT Literacy The ICT Literacy Certification with curricula and content will be available and integrated into school curriculs. Ongoing beginning in January 2007
ICT Integration Ensure availability of module on ICT Integration for Educators. January 2007
ICT as an examinable subject The existing Computer Practice will be replaced with a new "Computer Studies for Grades 8-10" syllabus. January 2007
Content Availibility   Ensure participation in content development training programmes conducted by the Namibian E-Learning Centre. Ongoing
Ensure access to the e-Learning content packages included as part of standard deployment to all schools. January 2007
Training and Usage Support Training of in-service teachers Over 5,500 teachers (all teachers in all 532 schools with secondary grades with ICT deployments) receive training in at least the Foundation Level ICT Literacy Certificate and complete the ICT Integration for Educators module. December 2009
Training of learners Over 140,000 learners (all learners in 532 schools with secondary grades with ICT deployments) will be using ICTs for at least one period a week. December 2009
At least 50 learners per year in each of the schools with secondary grades with ICT deployments (should be all 532 schools with secondary grades by the end of 2009) will receive training in at least Foundation Level ICT Literacy. Annual target beginning 2007
Maintenance and Technical Support   Development of sufficient capabilities to provide First Level Technical Support. Training provided in conjunction with deployments
Monitoring and Evaluation   Participation in ongoing monitoring and evaluation activities. Ongoing
