Educational Management

The use of ICTs offers an easier means of exchanging, storing, securing and analysing information. In addition to strengthening the Ministy’s existing Education Management Information System (EMIS), an Educational Management System (EMS) will be deployed to improve administration at schools and other educational institutions.

EMS will make administrative duties at all educational institutions more efficient and effective through student records database, timetabling functionalities, and report generation. The Educational Management Working Group has created an evaluation tool to assess the quality and appropriateness of EMS software for the Namibian context.
